अरण्यकाण्ड 3.12

हे नाथ, कोसलराज के पुत्र, जगत के आधार, आपसे मिलने आए हैं।

Master, the sons of the king of Kosala have come to meet you—the sustainer of the world is here.

वे राम हैं, छोटे भाई और सीता सहित; हे देव, उन्हीं का आप रात-दिन जप करते हैं।

It is Rama, accompanied by his younger brother and Sita, whose name you chant night and day, revered sir.

यह सुनते ही अगस्त्य तुरंत उठकर दौड़े; राम को देखकर उनकी आँखें आँसुओं से भर गईं।

Hearing this, Agastya immediately rose and hurried forward; seeing Rama, his eyes filled with tears.

दोनों भाई मुनि के चरणकमलों पर गिर पड़े; ऋषि ने बड़े प्रेम से उन्हें हृदय से लगा लिया।

Both brothers fell at the sage's lotus feet; the sage lovingly clasped them to his chest.

ज्ञानी मुनि ने आदरपूर्वक कुशल पूछकर उन्हें भीतर लाया और उत्तम आसनों पर बैठाया।

The wise sage respectfully asked after their welfare, brought them in, and seated them on fine seats.

फिर अनेक प्रकार से प्रभु की पूजा करके मुनि ने कहा, “मेरे समान भाग्यवान दूसरा कोई नहीं।”

Then, worshipping the Lord in many ways, the sage said, “No one else is as fortunate as I am.”
